Here we are 19 days away from election day throughout our nation and the candidates just intensify their rabid attacks on each other and the Republican and the Democratic Parties just add more awful attack ads to fuel the fire. There is no doubt in my mind that the two major political parties and their candidates have lost touch with “We The People.” The money keeps rolling in and the ads keep rolling out. The message from these ads is clear. Dig down into the deepest dirtiest wholes you can find and throw as much mud and filth at the other candidate as you can and maybe no one will notice that nothing worthwhile of substance and fact is ever mentioned. I notice. I also believe that the other people are noticing as well. Democratic Candidates, Republican Candidates they are all living down to lowest expectations. “We the People” must demand better from all candidates. Wouldn’t it be nice as well as productive if those issues that are effecting the lives of countless numbers of “We The People” were discussed and solutions were found for the overwhelming majority of the people that are going day by day just trying to provide for themselves and their families. Election Day will come. My hope and prayer is that the issues that matter will rise to the top and become important. The Founding Fathers of this Nation, The Framers of The US Constitution I believe would join me in the demand for public service and representation of the people that elected the next representatives. I also believe that The Founding Fathers would agree that the time for change must be now! The time for action is now. Let us demand that our elected officials do their jobs and represent “WE The People.” Not Political Party Officials, Not Be Money, Not PACs Represent “We The People.”
